Senior RF Design Engineer

Based at our R&D facility at Rotherwas, due to continuing growth of the company, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior RF Engineer to join the design team working on a range of state-of-the–art search and rescue products for the aviation industry.

Requisite capabilities/ experience

• Minimum 5 years experience developing RF products
• Design of RF Transceiver Circuits and Modules
• RF / Microwave simulation tools
• Design for Test / Design for Manufacture
• EMC requirements and testing
• Use of laboratory equipment
• PCB design software (Altium Designer)

Key Responsibilities

• Production of RF Hardware specification documentation
• Design of RF hardware Transmitter / Receiver circuits and modules
• Mentoring junior engineers
• System test and debugging
• Validation reporting
• Support for existing products and new product development

Full Time Position

• Hours are based on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm with half an hour each day for lunch. No weekend, evening or bank holiday working.
• Salary commensurate with experience.
• Free internal training provided as required.
• Opportunities to progress, promote internally and up skill.

Due to the nature of the business being a manufacturing environment, working from home arrangements are not available.
