Based at our R&D facility at Rotherwas, due to continuing growth of the company, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electronic Hardware Engineer to join the design team working on a range of state-of-the–art search and rescue products for the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design of Electronic Schematics for analogue and digital systems
  • Design of wiring interconnects
  • Mentoring junior engineers
  • Board /component level testing
  • Support of Software engineers during design and development
  • Production of Hardware specification documentation
  • Support for existing products

Requisite capabilities/ experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience developing Analogue/Digital Hardware
  • Knowledge of microcontroller and embedded systems
  • FPGA hardware design
  • Use of laboratory equipment
  • PCB design software (Altium Designer)
  • Design for EMC
  • Design for Manufacture; Design for Test

Full Time Position

  • Full time position. 
  • Hours are based on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm with half an hour each day for lunch.  No weekend, evening, or bank holiday working.
  • Salary commensurate with experience.
  • Free internal training provided as required.
  • Opportunities to progress, promote internally and up skill.

Due to the nature of the business being a manufacturing environment, working from home arrangements are not available.
