Based at our Production Facility at Rotherwas, due to the continuing growth of the Manufacturing and Dispatch departments, an opportunity has arisen for a TECHTEST PRODUCTION PROCESS TECHNICIAN, to work in close association with the Process Department, in the generation and maintenance of all required processes and operational standards in Techtest, affiliated departments and additional required areas.
Requisite capabilities:
Although relevant experience would prove advantageous, it is not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the generation and monitoring of Production processes and will be responsible for the daily operation of the Techtest manufacturing MRP system used to manufacture products utilised on airborne Search and Rescue equipment and ideally possess:
- Strong organisational skills and display a sound work ethic.
- A naturally enquiring mind.
- A manufacturing background is preferable but not essential.
- Proven analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Strong IT systems knowledge and skills, including advanced Excel skills.
- An electronics background is preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring of active processes to ensure compliance with all required standards.
- Collation of information for generation of monthly manufacturing activity analysis.
- Maintain the policy of continuous improvement in all aspects of Techtest Process.

- Hours are based on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 4.30 pm with half an hour each day for lunch. No weekend, evening or bank holiday working.
