Facilities Maintenance Operative

The Job Role

Currently we are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Operative to join us at our Production Facility in Rotherwas.

Responsible for all aspects of building maintenance, Health and Safety arising from site issues, site and building security, liaise with all departments as required to carry out the duties below.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for;

• All aspects of site and building maintenance.
• Painting and decorating.
• Grounds work.
• Basic plumbing and carpentry.
• Keeping workshop and sites clean and tidy.
• Able to work on other company sites.
• Able to work out of normal working hours to complete jobs.
• From time to time, you may be asked to carry out duties other than your own.

Other duties include but are not limited to:

• From time to time, you may be required to drive a Company vehicle whilst on Company business.
• To undertake any reasonable duty specified by Senior Management.

• Full time position.      
• Hours are based on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 4.30 pm with half an hour each day for lunch.  No weekend, evening or bank holiday working.
• Salary commensurate with experience.
• Free internal training provided as required.
• Opportunities to progress, promote internally and up skill.
• Due to the nature of the business being a manufacturing environment, working from home arrangements are not available.
