Unwavering Detection Across Expansive Frequencies:
The 503 ELT System transmits the conventional 121.5MHz and 243MHz homing frequencies, along with the Cospas-Sarsat 406MHz distress frequency, including GPS coordinates. This ensures authorities are instantly alerted and search and rescue teams have a comprehensive range of signals for a swift and effective rescue operation.
Unparalleled Flexibility for Diverse Deployment Scenarios:
A unique feature of the 503 Series ELT is its unparalleled flexibility allowing engineers to adapt the system to their specific needs and deployment scenarios. The ability to operate both remotely and as a portable Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) provides users with the versatility to meet the diverse requirements of various aircraft types and emergency situations.
Automatic Activation
The multi-axis G sensors housed within the G-Switch module allow for accurate and reliable activation during a crash. In the event of an emergency, the G Switch automatically activates the ELT ensuring that the distress signal is initiated even if the aircraft occupants are incapacitated. Unlike the traditional mechanical G Switches, the electronic accelerometers used by Techtest allow for G levels to be programmed to suit different aircraft types. A recent ELT study by NASA also concluded that the Techtest ELT G Switch was the most reliable on the market.
