Techtest introduces new Entry Level ELT
Techtest has been a manufacturer of Emergency Location Transmitters for many years and has just introduced a new “Entry Level” model which is an Automatic Fixed ELT, specifically designed for the General Aviation market.
This has been developed from our existing products so incorporates many of their advanced features, including Class 1 (-40°C operation) and GPS interface option. It features a single axis G switch and can be combined with a simple whip antenna and cockpit switch to offer a simple low cost Automatic ELT. However, the ELT is compatible with our existing components so a more sophisticated system can be built up around the ELT.
The Entry Level ELT is housed within high quality durable thermoplastic case, through coloured yellow for high visibility. The design allows for fast, snap release of the housing, for simple removal of the transmitter unit for easy maintenance.
