Press Release: ELT sales to Italy exceeds 1,000 units
Techtest is pleased to announce it has just sold its 1,000th Emergency Locator Transmitter in Italy to customers including Aermacchi, Alenia, the Italian Air Force and Alitalia.
The company's range of 503 series automatic ELTs are the most advanced designs available being class 1 (operate down to -40°C) ELTs and offering unique features such as adjustable activation levels and an embedded GPS option. This and the robustness of the design has seen Techtest rapidly become the ELT of choice for military applications. The 503 series ELT is the only ELT, operating on 406MHz, to have been fitted in an ever increasing number of fast jet applications.
In addition the 500-27 PLB / Survival ELT with embedded GPS is now the standard fit in many Martin Baker ejection seats fitted in such a way that it is automatically switched on when the seat separates from the crewman.
