Press Release: Techtest ELT selected for A380
The Techtest 500-12Y Survival ELT, which has been approved by Airbus since 2002 has been selected by Airbus for fitment on to the prototype Airbus A380 aircraft.
The 500-12Y, which is the only fully approved Survival ELT available with a speech facility represents the new generation of small light weight ELTs, which are replacing the traditional EPIRB based designs.
The 500-12Y is available as SFE and BFE equipment for all Airbus aircraft and has now been selected by in excess of 50 airlines world wide.
